Plaque seen in retinal artery.  This is a medical
EMERGENCY.  If plaques are seen in the retina, they
could be in other places in the body.

High Cholestrol
Mitral Valve disease

Hyperviscosity
Hypercoagulability
Kidney Dysfunction

Associated Symptoms
Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIAs)
Peripheral Field Loss
Ischemic Optic Neuropathies (IONs)
Fainting/Balance Issues
Weakness

Primary Workup - STAT REFERRAL TO ER FOR:
EKG (for calcium being thrown by the heart/MI)
Cartoid Dopper (to check for plaques in the Carotid)

Secondary Workup
Lipid Panel (High Cholesterol)
Hyperviscosity/Hypercoagulability
BUN/Creatinine (Kidney Dysfunction)
